The hallways of the Bracebridge Town Hall are filled with art created by the members of Muskoka Arts & Crafts in an on-going series of two-month long exhibitions. It’s a partnership between Muskoka Arts & Crafts and the Town of Bracebridge to not only beautify public spaces but also to support and celebrate locals artists and the long-lasting relationship between the town and our not-for-profit organization. Traditionally, art has been shown in galleries but today, there is a trend to find art in unexpected places such as urban alleyways, the sides of buildings and through the hallways of public corporations. Art venues such as the Town Hall help to make art accessible for all in the community to experience, enjoy, explore, think and talk about it as well as to be inspired. And, it’s another way to showcase the incredible art that’s made in Muskoka. The current show continues until February 1 when a new selection of art will be installed. The Town Hall is located at 1000 Taylor Court.
