Looking for inspiration in your life? Then you must hear author, George Daniels at the Muskoka Authors Association meeting on Thursday, May 16 as he speaks about his life as depicted in his new autobiography. According the Lieutenant-General Richard Rohmer, “What George does in this book is provide all kinds of advice and lessons for the reader to use in her or his pursuit of personal objectives – successful pursuit, that is!” George Works!: Lad to Leadership, The Making of a New Canadian is the compelling autobiography of a young English immigrant lad who came to Canada and embraced the best of what our country stands for.
George Daniels shares a life brimming with love, loss, adventure, creativity, personal and corporate achievement and recognition by his peers, Parliamentarians and Legislators. He has worked as a bush pilot, builder, cowboy, commercial pilot, heavy equipment operator, TV tower technician, tour guide, National Advertising and Sales Manager in the worlds of radio, automotive parts and private aircraft, sports promoter and founding partner of Signature Advertising Inc.
A bilingual motivational speaker, Daniels also has found time to serve his community, his Province and his Country as an advocate for the environment, community improvement and important municipal issues, and taking leadership roles in each of the organizations he has served.
