Writing an Effective Query Letter
How do you grab the attention of an agent or publisher? What should you include in a query letter and what should you leave out?
If you are ready to send your manuscript out into the world, the query letter you compose could open or close doors. With stacks of correspondence crossing agents’ and publishers’ desks every day, what will make you stand out from the pile? Author and speaker, Cindy Watson, will share her knowledge and experience writing effective query letters at the next Muskoka Authors Association meeting on Thursday, August 15. Bring your questions and query letters to add to the discussion.
