Lynda Lynn was born in Bracebridge, as were five generations of her ancestors who first arrived in the 1880s because of the Canadian land grants. “This show represents contemporary scenes from around town along with scenes from earlier times. “I hope that everyone who has had the good fortune of growing up in a small town will recollect their own upbringing and enjoy the memories. And for those who didn’t have that experience, catch a glimpse of a time treasured.” All Around the Town opens with a public reception on Saturday, November 17 between 1pm and 4pm. The exhibition continues until December 14 at the Chapel Gallery in Bracebridge.
Located at 15 King Street in Bracebridge, the gallery is open year-round, Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. It is closed during the last week of September and the second week of October as well as between Christmas and New Year’s Days. Please check the Calendar of Events for the actual dates.
